As a part of our CX Release 2025.07.31, we have made additional enhancements to our 5500. filing system.

Wet Signature Filing

CX now supports a full wet-ink Form 5500 workflow: TPAs can send the completed 5500 to plan sponsors to download, print, and sign; sponsors then upload the signed form back to CX, where TPAs review, approve, and e-file to EFAST using their credentials. Every step is tracked end-to-end in the 5500 dashboard.

Additional 5500 Module Improvements

1. We updated several UI bugs to ensure that text entered into the form is clearly readable and that boxes reflect the type of input required (text, checkboxes, etc)

2. We introduced form 5500 auto-filling. When plan details are provided, once a 5500 form type is selected, CX will automatically populate the following:

   1. Plan Name

   2. Company Address

   3. EIN

   4. Business Code

   5. Plan Code
