Configurable Task Visibility Scheduling

Feature Details:

• Deferred Visibility (Start Date):
  Allow users to set a specific date when a task should first become visible in the dashboard/task list (e.g., “Show on December 1, 2025”).

• Optional Visibility End Date (windowing):
  Allow users to define a date range during which the task remains visible (e.g., “Show from October 1 to November 15”).

• Visibility Control Options:

  • Default behavior: Tasks are visible immediately upon creation.

  • New option: “Set task visibility date(s)”

    • Start Date: when to begin showing the task

    • End Date (optional): when to stop showing the task

  • Tasks outside the defined window are hidden unless manually searched for or viewed under a “Deferred Tasks” filter.

Rationale:

• Reduces dashboard overload by hiding long-term or non-actionable tasks until relevant.

• Supports seasonal and compliance-based workflows by letting tasks appear and disappear in alignment with regulatory deadlines.

• Encourages proactive task planning without burdening daily task views.
