We have seen multiple teams use the save automation to save a file to the client directories, however, sometimes these save automation are looking for a file that might not exist at that time. Thus, making the automation fail.
For example. In the APQ, if they are asking the plan sponsor to “provide a fidelity bond if available”, they are adding a task to the project to save that file to the client directories.
However, if the plan sponsor does not provide a file, the automation would run and fail saying “no file to save”.
If you add the conditional option to save automation, you could make it run if a file is present. If no file, mark automation/task as complete.
